Though I must confess, I had a daydream fantasy of taking my aluminum baseball bat to his car windows.

Y'know, I can't even find his address on mapquest? If I hadn't seen his fraternity picture sitting in the back seat of his car, and he hadn't told me he was an entertainer at Old Coney, I'd be pretty much in the dark. Meaning more so than I am now.

I did write his Christian social group, and I wrote the director of his college program. Figured it couldn't hurt. Somewhere down there I would think there's a good Christian willing to do the right thing and rat out another Christian.
Well, I do have an update.
I have a friend who lives several blocks away from Kevin's apartment complex, so I drive by Kevin's on the way to my friend's. I did so last night, and decided to chat with a young man who pulled up to the building.
The young man had just moved in Saturday, but remembers seeing a car with Arkansas plates. Just as I'm talking, I see a pickup with Arkansas plates pull up. Not Kevin, but an elderly man gets out.
I'm thinking, "Hmmmmm..."
So I quickly walk to the old man and talk to him, just as he's entering his apartment. Most friendly and compliant, he tells me his grandson and Kevin are friends, and both are students are Ouachita Baptist, and both were working at Old Coney for the summer.
The old man said he and his wife came here for the summer to see his grandson in the shows at Old Coney. Sad, yet charming.
Anyway, Kevin moved back to Arkansas, "last Sunday." Kevin nor his family have any phone whatsoever, so the cop was telling me the truth. The old man didn't know why they don't have a phone, other than that they "don't believe in them."
The old man took my name and number and would give it to his grandson to give to Kevin.
Not that this gets me anywhere, but at least I know Kevin is gone, and I know where he is. And now I speculate the address on his license is probably accurate, and probably his parents'. Plus, my emails to his school and his Christian social club have a higher liklihood of reaching Kevin.
I don't ever expect to get my $1,000-$1,500, but that's not the point anymore.
Reading this thread brings back such "lovely" memories! It's been 3 years since I've worked but I recall that drive downtown on 75 or 71 vividly. Cincinnati drivers are the worst! I used to think Orlando tourists were awful (well, yeah, they are), but Cincy gets the prize.
Reason, you actually gave me a sick, anxious feeling in my gut reading your description of the woman on 75. I encountered that shit just about every weekday. Cell phones, applying makeup, dangerous truck drivers - you name it.
Funny, when we now make the trip back to Ohio we have to go through Chicago and it doesn't faze me in the least. 5 years of heading to downtown Cincinnati and I've already seen it all!
